I was contacted by Marie Gibbons of Valley Imports several months ago, requesting a quote on a website redesign. Checked out the existing site at www.volvolady.com and had a pleasant surprise, this was a website I had frequented way back in 2002-2004 when I had been looking around for a new car! I had admired the site and her business concept back then, even though I never did end up buying a Volvo. In fact, I never did end up going to her lot in Abbotsford, so had never met Marie in person. Anyway, when looking at the site I could see it hadn’t changed much and Marie, known as “the Volvo Lady”  was looking to completely redesign it.

Marie is a very interesting lady and she sure knows her Volvos.  I was so impressed by the way she operates her business, and blown away by the quality of the vehicles she sells. She has such passion for Volvos, and that passion and knowledge is certainly passed on to her valued customers.  It was an honor to redesign her site, incorporating some of her ‘quirkiness’ and to learn about her story.

With the new volvolady.com website built using WordPress, Marie can now go in and add her own inventory by herself, without having to ask a designer to add listings for her. She is also able to edit pages as necessary, and easily mark her inventory sold as soon as it leaves the lot!

A Creative Team was approached by Dave at Doorcare last year to design their new company logo for Doorcare. They weren’t quite ready to launch their website yet, but they approached us in September about creating a website for them.

Their requirements? They wanted the website to represent their established image as well as compliment their new logo. The site had to be easy to use, and provide customers with easy to access web forms for requesting quotes and service, and to contact Doorcare directly.

We were very impressed with Doorcare’s helpful and efficient service staff, as we had them install new garage doors at our house. Would happily recommend Doorcare to anyone looking to improve the value of their home by renovating and included fresh, new energy efficient garage doors!
